Practical Weatherproofing With Double Glazed Windows

If you live in a particularly loud neighborhood or in an area with cold climate that somehow seeps into your home even with all the windows closed, you may want to consider installing double glazed windows. These windows are made by placing two sheets of glass close to each other and vacuuming the space in between, creating a heating insulation that also blocks out sound because of the thickness of the dried air in the space between the two sheets of glass.
