The kitchen in kitchen for dishespots and pantry for dishespots and pretend you are going to change.
For it to prepare meal think of your home and think of your kitchen and pretend you would stick with designing kithchen that is easy to cook dont forget cabinet space for you.

Design a living room or a bedroom.
Look up ideas online & do it that way.
