Tile floor installation with hard rug time lapse DIY

May 17th, 2010 by home improvement

www.BucketApe.com We created this as a “hard rug” feature in the middle of our living room. No wet saw was involved, just a score and snap cutter. We used 12″ on a diagonal in the middle and then 6″ diamond tiles around it as the border. After the video we laid 17″ tiles around the rug at 90 degrees to the rug’s center tiles. We were really pleased with the results and it turned out well within the realm of the do it yourselfer.
